Venti Pink Drink-Light Ice

I am currently sitting in the Starbucks on Ogden freaking out about how much homework I have. I had no idea it was this easy to be this overwhelmed in less than a weeks time-but the universe does! My signature drink at Starbucks is a Venti Pink Drink with LIGHT ice. Sometimes I even say EXTRA LIGHT ice because otherwise they scam you and fill up your cup 75% of the way with ice and it is a waste of money. That is the object I am directly staring at right now. This is an example of a routine for me because I come to Starbucks, and other coffee shops about once a week to sit for 5-6 hours at a time and do homework. When my cup empties, at Starbucks I can get free refills, this only allows me to stay here longer and lengthens my bad habits of being here all the time. But at least I’m getting my homework done! I love the way the strawberry chunks float in my drink, once it gets to the bottom I suck them through the straw, it’s like a reward for finishing the drink. It is sad, but when I’m at coffee shops I “reward” myself with bathroom breaks. How sad is that? What has our education system turned too where I have to do that to feel like I am being productive. I also bite my straw on days I have much more homework, or are more stressed than others. I have a reusable cup-BUT I ALWAYS FORGET IT! I remember to bring it to The Grind-just not the place it’s meant for. I also tend to crumple and bend the actual cup itself, out of a nervous fidgeting habit perhaps? I also like to swish around the ice once my drink is empty, which is probably annoying to everyone else in here right now. Time to get a refill!
